CTDI’s focus is to constantly upgrade our
testing processes and expand our repair capabilities to include a wide range
of equipment to meet industry demands and customer requirements. Our
objective of increasing our technical capabilities, and to build on our
value-added services, is directly related to our commitment to reduce
overall equipment repair costs and improve turnaround time for defective
equipment.
Since 1975,
engineering and test development efforts has provided CTDI with a strong
technical foundation on which to expand our service offerings. As an
important strategic partner in our customers’ supply chain, we strive to
stay ahead of the technology curve, ensuring no break in repair service as
new product is developed and deployed by our customers.
In order to meet this objective and to support
ongoing research and development, CTDI employs 310 engineers worldwide, 273
of which support the Americas, strong evidence of our company-wide
commitment to continually improve and expand our engineering organization.
As a result, CTDI Engineers have developed new
in-house testing and repair capabilities for an average of 950 unit types
for each of the last five years. In 2006, CTDI developed over 1,200 new
tests increasing CTDI’s overall test and repair capability to over 50,000
unit types.
