About Brian Parsons

Brian Parsons is the President & CEO of CTDI, where he leads the company’s global strategy and operations across its worldwide network. In partnership with CTDI’s ownership and Board, Brian drives long-term growth, advances operational excellence, and strengthens the company’s commitment to delivering world-class service to customers around the globe.

As a third-generation Parsons family owner-operator, Brian was mentored by his father, Jerry (CTDI co-founder, Chairman, and longtime CEO), and his uncle, Leo, whom Brian succeeded as CEO. He had the privilege of working with his grandfather and CTDI’s founder, “Mr. P.,” whose career came full circle as Brian’s was just beginning. These formative experiences grounded Brian in CTDI’s values as well as his own leadership philosophy. Today, Brian is proud to work alongside eleven fellow third-generation (“3G”) Parsons carrying the family business legacy forward.

Prior to becoming President & CEO, Brian served as COO from 2019-2025, where he was instrumental in scaling CTDI’s global operations and overall business growth, and the maturation of the Corporate Administration and Finance & Accounting functions. His leadership during the global pandemic positioned the company for stability and success during a time of rapid change.

Brian joined the company in 2001 as an engineer and quickly became involved in key mergers and acquisitions that resulted in the launch of the Products Division and his promotion to Director in 2004. As his responsibilities grew, Brian played a central role in the company’s product acquisitions that fueled strong year-over-year growth. In 2013, he was promoted to VP, Products & Supply Divisions, where he continued to champion a strong, customer-centric culture across the company.

In 2016, he led the transformative $100 million acquisition of European company Regenersis, an effort that doubled CTDI’s presence in the region and marked CTDI’s entry into the Mobility market. Under his leadership, the Mobility Division experienced rapid global expansion, secured partnerships with industry-leading customers, and advanced CTDI’s engineering capabilities, including the modernization of technology platforms and integration of robotics functionality.

Brian earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. A strong advocate for continuing education, he also holds certificates in Wireless Communications (Georgia Tech), Finance and Accounting (Wharton), Risk Management (Harvard Business School), HR Talent Acquisition (Cornell), and Mergers & Acquisitions (Columbia).

Brian has been a member of the CTDI Board of Directors since 2008 and joined the CTDI Europe Supervisory Board in 2018.

Brian and his wife, Brigid, serve as co-chairs of CTDI CARES, the company’s global charitable program that provides funding to CTDI employees and their immediate family members impacted by cancer and other illnesses. He is also a member of the United Way Worldwide Board of Directors and an active supporter of the Chester County United Way, where he is Past-Chairman and served on the Board from 2010-2023. Brian remains actively involved in the University of Notre Dame Alumni Network.
