About Jerry Parsons

Jerry Parsons founded CTDI in 1975 with his father, Donald and brother Richard, in the family garage in West Chester, PA. What began as a circuit board repair depot quickly grew into an industry-leading service provider and strategic partner in global
communications.

As Chairman, Jerry remains actively involved in the company, providing ongoing leadership and guidance. His ability to identify emerging business opportunities and design innovative strategies has guided CTDI through a dynamic, rapidly evolving industry, with a commitment to technical innovation and service excellence. During his tenure as CEO, Jerry positioned CTDI as the premier provider of test engineering, repair, and logistics services for the telecom, cable, and consumer device sectors.

Under Jerry’s leadership, CTDI has developed the most innovative, automated, and robotic test systems in the industry, supporting technologies such as consumer smart devices, audio devices, set-top-boxes, wireless gateways and 4G & 5G wireless infrastructure equipment. Today, CTDI operates over 100 global locations and employs more than 20,000 talented employees worldwide.

Jerry’s vision, together with the dedication of CTDI’s employees, has been central to the company’s remarkable growth and long-term success. Along with his brother Leo and his sons, Brian and Mike, Jerry continues to focus on preserving CTDI’s 50-year family business legacy. The company is now managed by 12 third generation (“3G”) Parsons family members.

Jerry graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Electrical Engineering.
