Michael Parsons is Executive Vice President at CTDI and provides leadership and direction for the Networks & Cable Business Unit's day-to-day operational performance. Michael also leads CTDI’s engineering efforts and recently created the CTDI Innovation Lab. The CTDI Innovation Lab engineers, designs and fabricates CTDI’s Gen-5, Gen-Xi, CMTx-6, REV-2 and EVO-3, which are multi-unit test systems with robotic functionality.
Michael began his career at CTDI in 2007 working in the engineering organization as a set-top box Project Engineer. In 2010, Michael was appointed Director of Set-Top Box Division and was responsible for CTDI's innovative test engineering of CTDI’s Patented Gen-3, Gen-5 and CMTx-5 multi-unit testers. Michael led the technical and business development of CTDI’s STB business and played a key role in establishing CTDI as an industry leader both technically and operationally. In December 2013, Michael was promoted to Vice President, Set-Top Box Division, overseeing a $500 million per year business.
Michael graduated in 2007 from Fairfield University with a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and received his MBA from Villanova University in 2011.
